I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Mellon Foundation
Interview
A couple weeks after applying, I was invited via Human Resources to complete a one-way video interview. This was fairly nerve-wracking, as you have to answer the five questions one at a time, each answer lasting two minutes or less, without being able to see the questions in advance. Fortunately, Mellon's settings for the interview allowed you to think about each question for an unlimited amount of time before you began recording, and allowed you to do unlimited retakes of each video. Nonetheless, this still took a large investment of time for setup, studying, and carefully answering each question, so I was disappointed that HR never got back to me either way, even after a polite follow-up.

Question 1
Can you demonstrate a time (in your current / last role) when you were able to step up to help the team solve a challenging issue?
This was a pretty lengthy process. I did a four different interviews (some in groups and some solo interviews) and then there was a financial exercise as well. Made it to the final round.

Question 1
Can you talk a little bit more about why you are excited about this job in particular?
I applied online. I interviewed at Mellon Foundation (New York, NY) in Feb 2022
Interview
I had an online interview. The questions were relevant for the position and, overall, a good experience. It was possible to re-record myself as many times as possible and to answer in full things I had thought about why I wanted the job and was a good fit for it.
