I applied online. I interviewed at Melrose Management (Orlando, FL) in Sept 2016
Interview
Interviewed with the two people I'd be working most closely with. Then I got a call for a follow up interview with the owner. After that interview they asked for a writing sample. I didn't hear from them for probably weeks, and then didn't receive an offer.
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Melrose Management (Orlando, FL) in May 2014
Interview
The interview for this company was pretty standard. I had a phone interview, where I was told that my resume was received and if I would be interested in setting up an in person interview. The interviewer asked me a bit about my resume and background and then scheduled the in person. During the in person intervies, the interviewer asked the basic qualification questions, to determine my fit for the position. The position, at the time, was a limited number of hours, with the promise of future hourly increase. With the hourly increase, I would be given more responsibility and a potential pay raise. After this explaination, I was asked a series of questions to determine my adaptability and level of previous guest service, since the position is very guest facing. All in all, the interview lasted 30 minutes and I was offered the position.
