Interview
Low level interview process, asked which state belongs to? asked native language.. Full of partiallity in interview.. Interviewer doesn't have knowledge about technical basics, he is asking what he faced problem in project..
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Mercedes-Benz Research and Development India (Bengaluru) in Sept 2016
Interview
Screen test: Usually first you will be usually receiving a call from the interviewer as a screen test and it will be more like a informal discussion to know each other and the needs & the demands of the job and the applicant.
Round 1: Followed by this will receive a call to personally attend the interview on a weekday at MBRDI ITPL. which will be an elaborate and detailed discussion and you will love it. in which you might also be asked to perform the coding by providing you a Lab-setup Laptop. This is again dependent on the person who who is interviewing, if he is more of sharing type then he would co-operate you to recall most of the answers otherwise you are on your own.
Round 2(managerial): This will be a more of a accountability and ownership questioning round where you will evaluated at your behavior and mindset towards work and past experiences and also you will get to know what are the values of Benz. this is a simple round but do not boast something that you are not sure about, be honest here.
Round 3(HR): This will an usual HR round but a tricky and tough one than technical, since at Benz they value integrity and believe in transparent and long term relationship. so you need to be sure confident and truthful when you speak
Followed to this will be a long follow-up with HRs which will be little annoying but still you will enjoy if you have performed well and expect an offer. But do not resign till you have the official offer in hand.
All the very best.
