I applied online. I interviewed at Mercy hospital (Joplin, MO) in Jan 2026
Interview
As far as custodial-type jobs go, the interview was a very lengthy and in-depth one. Questions were asked about how I handle certain types of situations, dealing with difficult people, the equipment I’ve used in the past, etc. One or two questions skirted around, but did not directly pertain to the issue of religion.
A rejection email arrived later on during the night.
Quick and easy. I was only asked about three questions such as tell me about yourself, why do you want to work here, etc It took about 10 minutes and I was shown the department
the interview process was good and people were nice. They want you to be yourself and show you care about people. The interview was not long and it wasn't that intimadating.
