I went through almost 6-7 rounds in 2 days. Please find below the interview details
a) There was a Hackerearth coding challenge going on a weekend. So, I gave that challenge and was able to solve both the problems. Yes, feedback was +ve of the test.
Recruiter contacted me for my availability to proceed with my candidature. Unfortunately , it was Christmaas week. So, I had to go for the interview on 2 different working days.
HR scheduled my following rounds of interview. It was onsite interview.
b) 2nd round of interview at MiQ Bangalore office. I could attend only one round of interview due to bit of misunderstanding in timings , also I had taken half day leave due to working day.
About interview, it was really a good discussion. It was a bi-directional discussion, especially we both of us were solving the problems. He covered coding questions especially data structure problems using Linkedlist , Tree and few puzzles. Then, we discussed about my current project , and few concepts of REST API and Spring. The discussion continued almost for 1.5 hrs.
Then I left for the day.
I had to go again on another working day. It was actually a long day.
c) Another round of technical discussion , again based on coding skills, DS , Algorithms and System design (HLD + LLD both)
d) Had a discussion with Hiring manager , this was a technical discussion again on System design.
e) Discussion with HR Head on behavioral skills and how I am going to be fit at MiQ , and few other things.
Then I came back , but another round of skype round was scheduled in the evening with director of engineering team.
f) This round was mostly on organization roadmaps , tech teams and which team I wanna choose and why . Few in general stuff with respect to process.
One thing I realized, people at MiQ are very young. Avg age is 25-26. if someone is beyond that age, they are so fit , you won't get that feeling that they are aged or something.
Finally, I got the mail from recruiter to share relevant documents.
By next day EOD, I got offer from MiQ.
I am really really grateful to HR and other panelists . To be honest, I also didn't expect for such quick turn around considering the fact that I just had 1 day to LWD at my current organization.
