I applied online. I interviewed at Michael Baker International (Alexandria, VA) in May 2015
Interview
First had a couple of phone interviews and then they flew me to Alexandria, VA where the project was based. They were nice interviewers. The questions were a variety but covered my past experience and how it related to job at hand. Wanted to make sure my personality was complementary to the client who was difficult to deal with.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Specific questions related to the job on hand and my experience. Wanted to know how I dealt with different people (can see why, it was very political with government client) and my volunteer work was even discussed. They wanted case studies on how I did certain things based on my past experience.
I applied through other source. I interviewed at Michael Baker International (Newark, NJ) in Apr 2024
Interview
Interviewers were fair and friendly. Interview wasn’t very technical as it was a starting level position. They were also fair and transparent about their work expectations. However, they took very long in getting back and I had to send them a couple of follow up emails.
I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Michael Baker International in Jun 2015
Interview
The initial communication and interviews were great. I had 1 phone interview and 2 in person interviews in the span of 3 weeks. But over 3 months later, I had yet to receive communication indicating my status one way or another, despite requests for updates.
The interviews with the company themselves went well and were more conversational.
