Was told to come in for a 30min interview, no time slot was given. After arriving, I saw a covid outbreak sign on their front door, however it was from the year before. Was told to sit down right by the entrance, and someone else arrived right after I sat down, prompting some guy at a computer to have to get another chair. Not sure why there was only one in the first place but whatever. The interviewer came to get me and led me into her office, and then the interview began. I was told it was a full time position even though the ad showed part time. I was told that there would be an exception made. After about two minutes, she stands up to show me the warehouse, even though I still had more questions to ask, hadn't even gotten a chance to ask any yet.
The warehouse was a disaster, thank God the doors opened towards us, because they wouldn't be able to open the other way(firehazard). You could see farther down the warehouse were the rows of products, all messy, some of the boxes overhanging from the racks (highly unsafe). I could only see two computer "workstations", one covered in boxes, and a laptop on a stack of boxes. The three workers were all huddled together in one corner and one more had a product tucked under their arm.
I was then herded out of the room before I got to walk into the warehouse, and instead of going back into the office, she was herding me towards the exit(we're at 5min here) and telling me that my first three days would be monitored by a supervisor and to bring steel toed boots. She left it with a "Bye, thanks for coming!" After 6 minutes. This was supposed to be a 30 minute interview and I left with more questions than answers.
I got scheduled for full time hours in the end
