I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Mindshow (Halifax, NS) in Oct 2023
Interview
Speaking with Jen was an absolutely pleasure. She was chill, down to earth and honest about the role I'd be stepping into. The whole interview felt very casual, and as someone who generally finds interviews anxiety-inducing, it was lovely change of pace.

What experience do you have, or how would you handle, managing a global team, in different timezones?
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Mindshow (Los Angeles, CA) in Aug 2017
Interview
Great interview experience, would highly recommend applying. Very pleasant and fun people, very reasonable interview questions, and extremely well-organized, especially for a startup.
There were several different interview sections: some coding, some general game engine knowledge, some about working style/culture. Lunch was also provided.

Question 1
Not sharing specific questions asked due to NDA, and also because that's cheating :P
Huge interview with 5 two man teams in different disciplines. Each team asked a couple of questions to see what to do in certain situations. Nothing about it felt hard or challenging. In fact, one can feel at ease at being interviewed by them. Nothing felt too difficult to answer and it was easy to talk to them. A shame they never followed up. I interviewed with and there was no email on an offer or rejection at all.
