      Technical Writer/Editor Interview

      12 May 2022
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Portland, OR
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Mineral (Portland, OR) in Apr 2022

      Interview

I was contacted by the hiring manager after applying to briefly go over compensation expectations. After that, I scheduled a phone screen/interview for about a week after. Ten minutes after my interview time, I received a call from the hiring associate to inform me the position had been filled. While understandable that the position wasn't available any longer, a simple email prior to the interview time would have been more appropriate.
