Went to the store and talked with owner and regional manager. Was asked questions about my experience with print, design, and customer service. The interview was relaxed and took about 15 minutes.
I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Minuteman Press International in Apr 2024
Interview
Very nice people at my location, small shop. They said you don't get to do a lot of designing though, mostly customer service work like emailing/picking up phone calls and handling walk-ins, printing stuff out in the back if needed to jump in if your main role is front desk. The design work you do often is like fixing what the customer requests or just updating small changes. Definitely big projects they said that come in time to time where you create it from idea to finished product, but not too often at least at my location. Overall great place if you're entry level and want to get your foot in the door and learn more about design. The boss was very passionate about helping you grow and learn. I didn't accept because there weren't any benefits package, no 401k, or health insurance, or PTO either. I think this will vary from location to location so just ask them and double check.
