Applied via LinkedIn, contacted by Recruiter who discussed the role, advising that the job didn’t have a salary assigned and they would be led by market trends. Giving my expectations she advised that it was in line with what was discussed. Waited after our initial interview to receive a rejection email advising they would now only offer £15,000 under the original discussed salary, no question of if I would consider that salary, just that on the basis my expectations didn’t meet that I was out of the process. I contacted them back, advised that I would consider working for that salary and then all of a sudden offered a 2nd interview. I doubt they had ever intended to offer a higher salary, just a tactic. Completed the 2nd interview where the interviewers advised they were an AI first business, having designed Agentic AI systems and processes and also having protection experience, I then held out hope I would be in the running. Then after a chase email from myself because they took well over a week after I was told interviews would be finished…. An automated rejection. No personal touch, no feedback. Just dumped out. Poor performance.

Give an example of when you have worked with technology to solve a learning problem
Streamlined process, nice and quick turn around. Good knowledgeable people who shared insights into the business along the way. 3 stages, 1st with recruiter - he was genuinely passionate. 2nd round with sales manager who was great and final stage with head of mortgages.
Very unstructured and using AI to transcript the interview and give the results. feels like an AI is interviewing you. Has 3 stages. first speaking to HR, then Hiring Manager, then the Head of Sales.
