I first met with the recruiter, and it went well. She liked my background and experience. She connected with the hiring manager and set up an interview. But she then added in another hiring manager for another role, which was different in scope/level. The interview was horrible - no focus and/or behavioral questions. They just kept asking which role I wanted aligned to my passion - honestly, I would have loved either role. In the end, they decided not to move forward - their loss as I was more than qualified and have a master's degree.
