At every step it was a wonderful interview experience. 1. Phone Call with recruiter 2. Short Case study with a team member via video 3. Video with a manager 4. Prep call with a team member for the presentation (Super helpful and the team member did an amazing job answering questions and providing clarity!!) 5. Role-play presentation with 3 people This was the best interview process I've experienced to date. Highly professional and everyone was very friendly. The recruiter was proactive with communication and set clear expectations. The team members did a great job answering all my questions and gave helpful feedback regarding my presentation. From the process, I learned a lot about MongoDB, its products, and the team. The team definitely won me over, and I can tell they are an amazing group of people who care deeply about helping one another.

Recruiter reached out to me back in October. Had various interviews and was a very start/stop process. Original recruiter was fired, one of the team members I interviewed with left the company. No one would explain why or what happened with them. Company would go on hiring freeze and week later, no more freeze. Red flags everywhere. Final round was a presentation round which is a lot of effort for an interview process. They expect you to know their product inside/out during the presentation when this is only an interview. Overall, declined offer as the interview process is indicative of the company and believe I dodged a bullet.
