The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Monks
Interview
Went through 8 rounds of interviews for 2 different positions all to have my offer rescinded during negotiation. My initial rejection for the first position I interviewed for was conducted via zoom. Who does that? That was the first red flag. Second red flag- they wanted me to interview for a lower paying position with a lower title. The recruiter even made jokes about how low the salary range was. Third red flag- the recruiter says before proceeding with interview scheduling that nothing in the compensation package negotiable- ranging from vacation days to the salary range. 4th red flag- I received a verbal offer. I wanted to start 2 weeks after receiving an official offer letter and clearing all contingency processes. I requested a week to think things through, which is a standard decision time for most companies. The recruiter assured me that sheâd never rescind an offer. And lo and behold, my offer was rescinded via email a few days later. What is the rush to start immediately during the holiday season? Beware of any employers who want candidates to start immediately and wonât allow candidates to respect their current employers notice time. This is their loss. Thankfully I received a lucrative offer from a well established and reputable company the next day that matched what I asked for during negotiation plus more without any hesitations.
They donât actually interview - they have you record and submit a video. Tells me exactly how much they care about quality hiring, Literally anywhere would be better to apply at.
