Interview
They got back to me quickly and asked if I would be able to make it by the next day, or else have to wait a month or so for next round of interview. The interview was quite relaxed and seemed to be more of a way to gauge your interest in the job and quality of your prior experience than an attempt to catch you out.
I applied online. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at Monocle (London, England) in Apr 2024
Interview
Following an application and initial screening via e-mail, a relatively informal proper interview with multiple team members that touched on the role, its responsibilities, and the needs it is meant to fill. At the end, exchanged thanks and said they would be in touch. Then, as other interview reviews have noted here, they ghosted. It was wildly unprofessional. They can't even be bothered to respond to follow-ups. I have never experienced anything like it. And then I ended up here, saw the overwhelmingly negative workplace reviews and it made a little more sense. Anyway, it takes 30 seconds to write a polite email informing someone their application was unsuccessful, something you absolutely ought to do if you spoke to them face to face. Not getting a job is no big deal, it happens all the time, and no hard feelings there. But it's a huge red flag when a company clearly lacks professionalism and manners right down to HR.
