      Front End Web Developer Interview

      7 May 2013
      Anonymous interview candidate
      San Francisco, CA
      No offer
      Neutral experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Moovweb (San Francisco, CA) in Apr 2013

      Interview

Was contacted by a recruiting agency, took a coding challenge (which was a math problem as opposed to anything practical). Their hiring manager while sounding professional either did not understand or did not know what position they were recruiting for, asking about things such as what is happening when you connect to a web page, or what DOM with almost disregard for the context, just all around odd questions will throw anyone who doesn't know anything about backened. The weirdest part was that is was a mobile developer position and they don't even mention this until the skype interview.
