I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Morgane Le Fay (New York, NY)
Interview
- they were very unprepared, not professional
- did not ask a genuine question besides basic information that they'd have known from portfolio or resume skim prior to inviting me in for an interview
- said negative things about previous intern to me in the interview
- greater time commitment was revealed than had been outlined in the job description posted online
IN SUMMARY: Based on the Glassdoor reviews, recurring LinkedIn job posts, and unprofessional communications and interview, it seems that they hire grossly-underpaid interns on an endless loop under the false pretense of "~intentions~ to hire if it's a good fit."
I wasn't going to post but felt inclined since there are couple of negative reviews that don't reflect my experience whatsoever. My interview was lovely, the conversation was natural. The room was really beautiful, overlooking the Hudson.

Interview
Honestly I didn't know why they called me, two pretty young women were super silent during the interview, I was the only one leading the conversation. They hardly asked me anything, they seemed to be super uncomfortable. I think they were expecting a specific looking person wearing expensive brands which doesn't make any sense for the position applied. Salary is quite low for this position.
I also noticed that this position shouldn't be called e-commerce manager rather than e-commerce assistant or e-commerce merchandising.
They should do phone interviews first or at least prepare them a little bit more.
