      Accounts Payable Specialist Interview

      29 Aug 2025
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Charlotte, NC
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied through other source. I interviewed at Morris-Jenkins (Charlotte, NC)

      Interview

The interview process was honestly one of the worst I’ve experienced. From the start, the tone felt less like a professional conversation and more like I was supposed to prove I was “lucky” just to be sitting there. Instead of asking about my skills or experience, they focused on strange, almost irrelevant questions—things that had nothing to do with the role. It felt more like they were testing how much I’d tolerate rather than actually trying to learn about me as a candidate. At times, it came across as if they expected me to be grateful simply for the chance to interview, rather than treating it as a two-way process where both sides determine if it’s a good fit. By the end, I left with the impression that they were more concerned with power dynamics than finding the right person for the job.
