it was hard and there was a lot of questions. I didn't know how to answer. I talked a lot to the manager then I was surprised. I should have known not to take the job

Two stages: a phone call and the final round with the manager and lead. The people were friendly and mostly discussed my past roles. HR reached out to me for references after interview. Somehow, in the last minute, HR found out that they had found a better candidate for the role after completing my reference checks. My referees were positive.
