The interview process went as follows: 1) phone screen with the recruiter 2) informal interview with the hiring manager 3) Excel test and another convo with the hiring manager 4) Panel interview

I recently had the unfortunate experience of going through the interview process with Motive, and I feel compelled to share my disappointment and frustration. The candidate selection process was not only biased but dare I say, racist, which left me feeling demoralized and disheartened. From the very beginning, it was evident that there was a lack of diversity and inclusion in the recruitment/recruiter/sourcer panel. The selection or picking candidates to move to an interview with hiring managers seemed to be designed to favor certain candidates over others. It was disheartening to see how the recruiters bypassed great candidates unfairly, solely based on their personal biases. The lack of fairness and transparency in the selection process at Motive is deeply concerning. It not only undermines the company's commitment to diversity and equal opportunity but also perpetuates systemic inequalities. It is disheartening to witness such a disregard for qualified candidates who could have contributed significantly to the company's success. I strongly urge Motive to reevaluate its interview selection/sourcing process and ensure that it is fair, unbiased, and inclusive. It is crucial for the company to recognize the importance of diversity and equal opportunity in creating a thriving and innovative work environment. By doing so, Motive can attract and retain top talent from all backgrounds, fostering a culture of inclusivity and excellence. I sincerely hope that my feedback will be taken constructively and that Motive will make the necessary changes to create a more equitable and fair interview selection process. It is my belief that every candidate deserves a fair chance to showcase their skills and potential, regardless of their race, ethnicity, or background. I genuinely wish the best for Motive and hope that they will embrace diversity and inclusion as core values, not just in their hiring process but throughout the organization.
