I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Mount Sinai Health System
Interview
I submitted my resume to an outpatient practice through a contact who knew they desperately needed a nurse since one of their nurses had left. I got called for an interview 1 month later (so there was no sense of urgency as it had seemed there would be). I met with the whole clinical team, doctors, nurses, director- each person individually, not all at once. I think they just wanted to see what kind of person you are so it was a pretty relaxed and conversational experience and did not involve any real tough questions that caught me off guard.

Question 1
Where did you work before this, and what kind of experience do you have, and why do you want to leave?
It took 6 weeks from interview to getting job. I think they don’t have a lot of HR people. Overall, it was an okay experience and people were nice. They answered all my questions.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Mount Sinai Health System (New York, NY) in Sept 2025
Interview
Applied online, reached out by recruiter, screening interview with recruiter, interview with nurse manager a few days later - maybe a 20 minute interview? Received the offer from the recruiter within 3 days.
