The interview process was a very different both times I interviewed for two different departments. One was with the Physician assistant supervisor for the team. Another was an attending. The Physician Assistant supervisor was able to lay out the setting for me and ask me questions pertaining to my level as a physician assistant with no experience. The Attending had expected me to know ICU level information with out any ICU experience prior.

Very informal, was reached out to by administrative assistant regarding an interview. Spoke about personal experiences, discussed the job at length including responsibilities, time off, job duties, time off and days.

Interview with 2 leading attendings, pa site director, chief pa, and meet fellow future colleagues. Very laid back, usually look for someone who can fit part of the group. It’s really an opportunity to see what kind of person you and how we can create an easy and free work environment.
