I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Mount Sinai Health System (New York, NY) in Aug 2022
Interview
I heard from mt sinai 1 week after applying the recruiter reach out to me via email and phone to confirm some details and then set up an in person interview . So I had two interviews with two different mount sinai location, the first one in the city was so terrible and unprofessional. One of the hiring managers already made her mind she wasn’t going to hire me and I had all the qualifications and certification and Everytime I talked she had to answer the phone or do something. So I already knew I didn’t want to move forward with that location. She didn’t even have no questions for me or wasn’t even prepared for the interview none of the two hiring managers.
Now the second location interview was my dream job and site. I was so happy to hear from them. So first thing is I had a zoom meeting with the recruiter/ director for the location. It was so good it was very comfortable and straight to the point.
1. What I want to leave my current job and can I work the hours of the site.
Then I was ask to go in person to meet the manger of the location and lead. This interview was the best and my new managers are amazing and so caring and amazing. I went in and the interview was 1 hour long I was asked 4 east questions about what I do in my current position and they were explaining everything about the position and my day to day. It a pretty new site. Then after the interview I was told they would like to move forward with me and I was so excited. Just be yourself and be honest and promote yourself and be confident. They even had my resume printed a head and was super prepare. Then I was told it takes 4-6 weeks to start working at mt sinai, so do be prepared if you getting the job at this organization you have to wait because it is a extensive pre employment they want the best people working there. So I was reached out by email again by the same person I did the zoom and was waiting for the recruiter definitely be on top of the job with your mangers about where you are so you can start as fast I started in 3 weeks because my references check out and my background check drug test and everything was perfect. Then you go to the city to complete your training then a tentative date is giving
