I applied online. I interviewed at Murphy Oil Corporation (Nashville, TN) in May 2017
Interview
Applied online.. did recruiter interview, then another phone interview, followed by a video interview and a in perosn interview with 3 divisional managers. Easy questions, all great personalities. Felt a little biased as more than half the candidates were from 1 other company and had previous work relationships with interviewers. Went with the process, answered the questions, but had lost interest in the position, as just based on interaction and dynamics you could tell the positions were already filled by pre-selected candidates.
I applied through university. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Murphy Oil Corporation (Little Rock, AR) in Mar 2013
Interview
I went to a college job fair and gave the recruiter my resume. She called me about a week later and did a phone interview. I made through that step, and then had skype interview with someone else; I made it through that interview, and was flown to Little Rock for a panel interview. That part was seriously intimidating.

I applied online. The process took 6 months. I interviewed at Murphy Oil Corporation in Apr 2011
Interview
I applied online and was contacted by a member of the recruiting staff. We had an over the phone interview immediately. They set up an interview with three other people for a few months later. I was then sent to a district to run it for six months, temporarily. After six months they then sent me for another interview with myself and two other people. I received the offer within the week.
I applied through university. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Murphy Oil Corporation (Dallas, TX) in Nov 2010
Interview
The interview process is extremely long and boring. They make you apply online and take a pointless quiz which easily takes up to two hours. The first steep is a phone interview, the next steep is a video interview on the computer, and then finally the real interview. During my real interview the guys were constantly checking the blackberries while I was talking it was very rude.
