Junior Embedded Systems Design Engineer (Year-long Placement) Interview

      10 Apr 2016
      Anonymous interview candidate
      No offer
      Positive experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at MysteryVibe in Feb 2016

      Interview

I replied to the job posting sent out by my University by emailing my CV and cover letter directly to the company. They responded promptly and I went for an interview in Surrey (near Hindhead) with the CEO and CTO. I found out a bit more about the company, its plans etc. and what I would be doing. I was given a short embedded systems written exam, asked what I was looking to get out of the placement and then asked to write some C code to put onto a PIC to flash some LEDs at given time intervals.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

From the exam paper: identify these basic logic functions and draw me their corresponding truth tables.
