Interview
My interview process at N26 consisted of 6 steps. First HR call that deals more with the role, the company and getting to know you. Second was a coding challenge to implement some APIs and needed to be delivered in 48 hours (they will send you all the specifications). Third, a pair coding exercise to solve an algorithm with an N26 software engineer. The fourth was a theoretical technical interview with other N26 engineers. Fifth was an interview with a development manager. The last one was the offer letter.
I really enjoyed doing this process! N26 is very quick to answer you. The interviewers were all very polite and friendly, what makes you confident and happy to know that maybe you will work with this people. It was a good time to share and learn. I strongly recommend applying for a software engineer position at N26.

I received a candidate pack that outlined all the interviews. Overall, they’re quite straightforward, just make sure to study LeetCode and system design. That said, don’t underestimate the final behavioral interview. You’ll be under pressure, so it’s important to prepare thoroughly.
I managed to complete the entire interview process and received positive feedback along the way, but I was ultimately rejected in the final stage.
