The NATO (North Atlantic Treaty Organization) interview process typically follows a structured, multi-stage approach designed to ensure transparency, fairness, and the selection of the most qualified candidates. While the exact process can vary slightly depending on the specific agency (e.g., NSPA, NCIA, SHAPE, JFC, etc.), the general stages are:
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Can you describe a time when you worked in a multicultural or multinational team to achieve a common goal?"
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at NATO (Brussels) in Apr 2024
Interview
First apply and they make you fill up a brief questionnaire. Then they contacted me to do a recorder interview (you have to record yourself answering the questions) and also two games, to see the hability i guess.
I applied online. I interviewed at NATO (Brussels) in Feb 2024
Interview
One of the worst interviews I have ever had. You are faced with a panel of five people who start reading off a script, and you are given no time to introduce yourself.
The questions are related to the job (no problem with that), but they are two-part, meaning they asked two different things in one question. They also had a ridiculous question from a textbook, and felt like an exam. There was no question about NATO.
The whole process was super unpleasant, aside from no ice breaker, the whole thing seemed robotic. I made up my mind that I didn't want this job. When I got the offer, I simply declined it.
