The panel usually comprises of a HR and two technical persons. They usually ask questions from your resume, so do prepare your resume well and be sure that u will be thrown upon some conventional hr questions like tell me about yourself and how do you see yourself in 5 years? They will try very hard in contradicting your opinions about your goals but stick to your point and if necessary try to blend in.

Interview
You should just have a good knowledge over your core papers and the events stated in you resume . So you should prepare 3-4 subjects and then must have the basic ideas about the engineering process.

Interview
HR and Technical Panel was a combined one.
There was a psychometric test to judge our behavior before the interview.
Technical round began with describing about oneself while the two panelist were going through my resume.
This is the point where you can direct your interview in the desired direction. As for my technical background i had Internship at NTPC and my final year project , i was more over a dramatics oriented guy so ai told them about my involvement in college fests and events.
