      Sales Representative Interview

      12 Jun 2024
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Universal City, CA
      Declined offer
      Positive experience
      Average interview

      Application

I interviewed at NBCUniversal (Universal City, CA)

      Interview

Was a three-part interview process. Got all the way to the end and they sent me an offer letter. However, I declined because the offer was very underwhelming for what the job entails. The interview was not bad though first will be a phone call. next two will be over zoom.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

Explain a time you had a challenging situation and resolved it.

      1 May 2025
      Anonymous interview candidate
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at NBCUniversal in Apr 2025

      Interview

Waste of time applying for a job here. They take weeks to respond to your application then send a link for a one way video interview where you only get one 30 second take to answer a question that should require a decent amount of detail. Then make you wait another few weeks before they reject you. This was my second time making it to the one way video interview, and both times I had zero human interaction. I have no intention of ever applying here again as they clearly don’t care about the candidate’s experience.

      Interview questions [2]

      Question 1

They asked basic questions like - Why sales? Why NBC?
      Answer question

      Question 2

Asked if compensation package worked - gave a base of $40k but said commissions would be up to 115% of that number

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at NBCUniversal (Minneapolis, MN) in Mar 2025

      Interview

An initial phone call about the role, one video call with hiring manager, and a final in person interview with the hiring manager and team. It was a easy, good experience.
