I had a promising interview with their recruiter, who informed me that the hiring manager would likely want to meet with me. I was told to expect an update by mid-next week and assured that I could reach out anytime if I needed anything, with the promise that "he'd be with me every step of the way." However, despite multiple follow-ups, I have not received a single response. People should be treated with respect and consideration for the time and energy they invest in the interview process. This lack of communication is highly unprofessional and reflects poorly on your company. Leadership should be made aware of how their recruiter is treating applicants.
