I applied online. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at NGP VAN (Somerville, MA) in Feb 2019
Interview
The Interview Process was Very Smooth and consisted of three parts:
1.) An over the phone experience where I was asked personality-related questions.
2.) A practical section where I had to write test cases for a PI program and a login/registration section.
3.) An on-site interview where you meet the team, which is much more laid back than you'd expect.
Be prepared, take notes. Keep notes. Write a thank you letter.
I love the company and agree with what they're doing, but didn't take the offer because I had one that made more sense at this point. I'd love to be with the Van at some point though (although I probably will use their technology this or next year).

Assorted Questions about Object Oriented Programming
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at NGP VAN (Somerville, MA) in Mar 2019
Interview
There were three parts to the interview. The first was going through a testing scenario and listing ways to test a website. The next was a coding test for a simple problem. The final was a Q/A about the role and qualitative content. The people were polite and the questions were standard interview questions. Be ready to code and describe your QA process for simple scenarios.
