There is quite a lengthy online application form on NHS website. After filing it in I had to wait for a while and got an email stating that I have been booked for an interview. The interview is 30 minutes long and consists of 10 minute presentation you prepare (mine had to be "My experience of supporting/training IT systems users") and 20 minute Q&A session. I was with the head of IT department and direct supervise for the position. Email with time provided names and positions of both. After the interview a decision is made the same day and they have a main candidate and a couple of insurances.
