      Tax Analyst Interview

      6 Dec 2025
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Amsterdam
      Declined offer
      Positive experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at NIO (Amsterdam) in May 2025

      Interview

The process was smooth and straightforward. Everything moved quickly and felt well-organized from start to finish. There were three interviews in total: an initial conversation with HR, followed by a discussion with a couple of team members, and finally a meeting with the hiring manager. The questions weren’t very difficult — they focused mostly on my experience, my work style, and how well I would fit with the team and the company culture. Overall, the entire process felt clear, efficient, and easy to navigate.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

Since this was a tax-related role, the main technical question was: “If you were developing a project in Austria — a country where we don’t have a legal entity — what would you look at to mitigate tax risks?”
