I applied online. I interviewed at NIS America (Santa Ana, CA)
Interview
The process was quick and straightforward. A few technical questions followed by a quick take-home HTML Photoshop test for which you are given about 2 hours to complete, but probably takes 20 minutes to do.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at NIS America in Apr 2015
Interview
A friend who used to work at the company mentioned they had an opening. I was brought in, asked a few initial questions by two editors and a manager, and then given an grammar/proofreading test. I got 80 out of 100. The manager did not seem happy with the score, but a few days later I got the position anyway. I have always suspected it was because of my friend but who knows.

Question 1
How do you keep focused during a long day of testing?
I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at NIS America (Santa Ana, CA) in Apr 2015
Interview
Took a test to ensure that you understand basic English by looking for errors within the page. This was very easy for me (I believe I scored 90 out of 100) and so I encouraged others to take the test, only to find out that of all the five friends that interviewed, not one of them passed. After confirming that I had passed the test, they had asked the basic questions on availability and how my testing process was. I was offered the job on the spot.
