I applied through university. I interviewed at NISA Investment Advisors, LLC in Oct 2011
Interview
University Recruiting so I submitted my resume through Career Services and they offered a first round on-campus interview. Lasted roughly 30 minutes as was expected. I interviewed with a fixed income securities trader who introduced himself and what he did at the firm, then asked me to talk about my background. He didn’t ask me any behavioral questions, he kind of went with the flow based on what we talked about. We talked about some courses I was taking in my finance studies, some finance topics were covered, we got into CAPM and three factor models, we then touched on my understanding of fixed income. He asked me to describe convexity and duration, there may have been questions on yield curves. No questions on derivatives.
I applied online. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at NISA Investment Advisors, LLC (Clayton, MO) in Sept 2016
Interview
Applied online. Had two phone interviews over the course of two weeks or so. Was then invited to Saint Louis for a round of inperson interviews at there office in Clayton. I had 5 interviews with two people in each over the course of about 3 hours. Overall nice and laid back people. Very nice office with Gym and full kitchen. No contact for almost a month after in person round, then got a letter in the mail saying there not offering me the job.
