I applied online. I interviewed at NORWESCAP (Phillipsburg, NJ)
Interview
I was really excited to interview with Norwescap because I grew up locally and knew of their impact. I received an email saying they were excited that I applied and that I was a top candidate. I received an email or some type of correspondence to set up a call. Then I was ghosted. I tried to call the office on the day of my interview, but I was told that the person who answered the phone didn't know how to transfer me to her because the person I was supposed to speak with wasn't working in the office that day. I asked if they could please send a message along that I was expecting to connect with the interviewer for a planned interview, but I never heard back. I'm also pretty sure I left a detailed voicemail and emailed, because I have kids, I get it, emergencies happen. But there was absolutely no follow-through or apology from them. It put a huge damper on my perception of the organization. As a NPO professional, I understand that volunteers or students can sometimes man phones, but for an executive or leadership-level interview, this is unacceptable. Sadly, this wasn't the only time I was ghosted for an interview or screening call.
Stage 1 : Apply on Indeed.
Stage 2: Heard back rather quickly, scheduled a phone screen.
Stage 3: After Stage 3, a Zoom Interview with three people, two of which were relatively new to the position. Mentioned that they would back from at the end of the month and of course they did not, ghosted.
If you are going to have someone take off work to schedule an interview and you end up ghosting them, you have virtually slapped them in your face.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
What makes you a leading candidate for this position?
Very basic; the interviewer was late for a Zoom by over 5 minutes. They seemed unsure of benefits eligibility when asked. They didn't appear to be the person who should have been conducting the interview. This interview was so disheveled.

Basic interview questions; Google no doubt produced them.
