I was incredibly impressed with Narrative Science’s hiring process for this role. The Talent team (recruiter & coordinator) were very communicative throughout the process and responded to emails within the day. Whole process took about 3 weeks; this was primarily due to me catching the flu halfway through the process. They were so understanding and patient about this that I just new this was the company for me. First a recruiter screening, hiring manager interview, then an on-site stream of 1x1 interviews for a couple of hours . In addition to a tour of the office (which is BEAUTIFUL) where you really get a sense of how amazing this company and the people are. When they learned that I was non-binary and used they/them pronouns, they respectfully asked questions to learn more and (I still tear up thinking about this) even hosted a company-wide presentation about gender identity and pronouns before my start date. Their DEI initiatives are getting better every day and it’s apparent as soon as you start the interview process. They make you feel like the family you want to be a part of!
