I interviewed at National Centre for Social Research (Tonbridge, England)
Interview
The interview process was basic, in fact 5 minutes long, anyone could pass it. The onboarding process was actually awful with the people, who remain faceless and nameless give inaccurate information. I got to the point where I decided to pull out of the process even though I got the position. 5 hours later I received an email saying I hadn’t been successful. I think there HR processes are awful.

Interview
One screening call with a HR partner from an external company on right to work. One interview - online, behavioural and situational questions. Lasted about 45 minutes with the group head and two Research Directors. This was summer 2024.
I applied online. I interviewed at National Centre for Social Research (Newcastle upon Tyne, England) in Oct 2025
Interview
Online, competencey based. Communication ability and calm under pressure testing how you’d deal with awkwardness. Phone and online then in person training which is usually on teams as well. Quite straight forward DBS checks also needed in depth.
