I applied online. Recruiter emailed to schedule a phone interview. The recruiter no-call no-showed for the phone interview. The recruiter never called to explain what happened and only offered up an excuse after I followed up a couple weeks later. I agreed to schedule another phone interview. The recruiter didn’t ask any open-ended questions and sounded more like a criminal investigation. She only asked questions that were already on the application. Based on the interview you could tell that she was just going through the motions in hopes of not being reported for her unprofessionalism. She made up the excuse of not seeing the interview on her calendar and that’s why she didn’t show up, even though she uses a specific calendar service that automatically adds the interview. So interviewing is a large component of your job but you are unaware of interviews that have been added, not buying it. The excuse was obviously made up and not true. She also avoided questions about the salary. Never heard from this recruiter after the initial, delayed phone interview. Most likely because someone else was already hired in those 2 weeks after her ghosting the interview. In my opinion apply elsewhere and don’t waste your time with this company.
The company really should re-evaluate their recruiting department if they would like to attract great candidates.
