      Marine Installation Engineer Interview

      27 May 2026
      Anonymous interview candidate
      London, England
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at National Grid (London, England) in Apr 2026

      Interview

Interview process was two stage: First stage with two members of the team with behavioural questions, review of CV and a presentation. Second stage was an "informal chat" with the hiring manager and installation manager. I was told at the first stage interview that if I got through to the second stage interview it was a formality and the job would be already secured. Four weeks after the second stage interview, after chasing up I received an automated response from SAP "At this time, we are no longer hiring for this position". Requested feedback and never heard anything.
