I applied online. I interviewed at National University (Los Angeles, CA) in Jan 2026

      Interview

A brief screening like 15 mins phone call with a recruiter to discuss basic qualifications, salary expectations, and work history. Then panel interview through videocall (usually via Zoom or Microsoft Teams). This stage focuses on your "sales" mindset, communication style, and ability to handle high volumes of student outreach.

      Question 1

The question generally focus on three areas: persuasion (sales), organization, and empathy.

      Application

I interviewed at National University (San Diego, CA)

      Interview

I had a scheduled 30 minute remote interview for a remote position. Overall the interview experience was good. The one portion that was tricky was roleplaying as the position you were applying to. The members holding the interview shared that position holders are provided a "script" of sorts to help navigate conversations. This is not provided and you are expected to just do your best. Nothing is provided about the sample student your are roleplaying a conversation with, which I am assuming you would have access to their files and any information they have provided to make the interaction easier to navigate.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

We are going to roleplay an outgoing communication to a prospective student. Do your best to understand the students wants and goals.
