I applied through university. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Navan
Interview
I went through 4 different interviews and 3 of them were not even with hiring managers. I was honest with my experience and was told I was exactly who they were looking for. After the 4 interview I was invited to their next round, The Challenge. I did everything that was asked of me and even got feedback before the meeting and changed the presentation to fit what they wanted. A surprise cold call was sprung on me and that is all they based my employment on. I was told I would be contacted in 24 hrs and had to reach out after the 24hrs was up. I was then told that I didn’t have the experience they were looking for. I never lied about what experience I had so I wish they hadn’t strung me along and lied to me for all the time I spent going through this process.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Where do you see your career going in the next few years?
A couple of informational interviews. A couple of behavior interviews. Challenge round with live role-play cold call with the sales manager. Lots of growth at the company and they want to hire a lot of SDRs.
I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Navan (New York, NY) in Sept 2019
Interview
The interview process starts with online app, followed by a video interview and then a final round on-site interview. I suggest that if someone is interested in working at TripActions, be sure to convey why you are passionate about their product and connect that to why you are a good fit for a sales role. They want people that are very passionate about their product.
Thank you for sharing your feedback. The New York office has an extremely vibrant culture and we are excited to share our passion for our company with you!
