I applied online then followed with a brief phone interview, then I got a coding test which required to finish in swift. I spent a few hours on the weekend and submit it.Then I got a Skype interview with one of the iOS engineers and also did coding in swift. After the Skype interview I was invited to the head office In SF for an onsite interview. I gave half an hour presentation and was interviewed by three people. Overall, the interview was not difficult, but I felt not being respected at all. I was told my interview with the last person, who is a VP, was cancelled because he had a phone call. I was told I would get feedback in 48 hrs, I ended up waiting for one week. They told me I didn't get the position because I don't have enough experience in swift. WTF??? There is not a single question that I need to answer in swift in the onsite interview. I did both my coding test and skype interview coding in swift. If I'm not qualified, don't waste my time for the onsite interview. I used my one day PTO and drove 4 hours to the head office. When I asked if I can get reimbursement of the mileages and parking, they made me feel like I'm begging for the money. I stopped talking to them after that. With my experience, it was the worst company I've ever interviewed with.
