I was contacted by Neat's Executive on LinkedIn couple months ago that they liked my profile and would like to discuss an opportunity with me. I appreciated and entertained the call request, but the Executive ghosted the conversation after.
Last week, I received a lengthy email from the same Executive stating value props about the company and that talking to him will be "worth my time". I again entertained the interview call request and scheduled a whole hour meeting for today. There was additional email exchange over the weekend confirming logistics of the meeting. So I had spent my Sunday preparing for the interview.
Fast forward to today, minutes before the meeting I received an email from the Executive - "After reviewing your LinkedIn resume. We have decided to go another direction at this time. This meeting will be cancelled. Thank you for your interest." Which left me confused since they had reached out to me based on my LinkedIn profile in the first place.
