I think there was a misalignment between HR and the team for which the position was open. They advertised for a tech role (software developer), but in the end wanted someone to focus on bridging requirements between stakeholders and the development team. Unfortunately this became clear only after I had invested personal time in their tech challenge and had gone through one "team fit" interview.
