I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Nerdery (Minneapolis, MN) in Jan 2016
Interview
I applied on their web site. First phone call with HR person who asked me general project management questions and that step number two would be a mini project to work on and then the third step would be to come into the office. After they asked questions, it was my turn and it was very difficult to get information on their culture and ways of working. I received a decline with zero information as to why.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Why do you want to work here? A lot of situational questions on having to handle the delivery of bad news. This was a red flag to me as it seems there are limited company resources that have to struggle to prioritize which project work they have to do.
Called in for first round interview which was casual and informal. Interviewer was warm and friendly and the interview was more conversational. He asked non-traditional interview questions and did a good job at explaining the culture of The Nerdery. He answered all of my questions without hesitation.

Question 1
How have you handled feedback that you didn't agree with?
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Nerdery (Bloomington, MN) in Mar 2014
Interview
After completing a pre-screen 'about me' questionnaire, I was invited to interview for the position of Project Manager.
As I waited for the interview to begin, in walked a large man in a backward baseball-cap, college sweatshirt and baggy jeans. I don't believe he introduced himself. He sat with his legs spread wide apart, barely looking me directly in the eye. He glanced at my information and then looked up and said "So talk." I started telling him about my experience, he stopped me and said he'd already read my resume.

Question 1
Completely off-put and discombobulated, I asked him what I should talk about. He said "tell me something I don't know."
