I applied online. I interviewed at NetApp (North Charleston, SC) in Jan 2021
Interview
First, I introduced myself, then they asked me some OOD questions, and basic C knowledge. Then asked me to complete a question using C. They asked me to implement a reversed tree, not hard but I did not finish it smoothly.
The interview was straightforward and conversational in nature. It focused on a few technical questions to assess my understanding of key concepts relevant to the role, but it didn’t include a live coding exercise or whiteboard session. Instead, the interviewer asked me to explain how I would approach certain problems, talk through examples from past experiences, and demonstrate my thought process. Overall, it was more about gauging my knowledge and communication skills rather than testing me with hands-on coding challenges.
