Technical test with oop and algorithms. It was ok, pretty basic exercises. It is the first step in the recruitment process and I am waiting for the response. After that there will be other interviews held on site, at their office
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at NetRom Software (Craiova, Dolj) in Nov 2019
Interview
The interview was available for two days. In the first day and at least half of the second day you need to implement a small application from scratch using one of the .net technologies, windows forms for me at that time. In this time, a person is coming to you and putting different questions about oop, databases, different projects from faculty or about your current experience. At the end of the application, another person is introducing a bug in your app, and you have to use the debugger to identify it. In the second part of the second day you also have to resolve different code problems (you have a matrix with 0 and 1, count the number of zones of adjacent 1 values).

The software interview process is a great opportunity for both the company and the candidate to assess each other's suitability for the role. Through a series of carefully crafted questions and tasks, the process can reveal a candidate's technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and ability to collaborate with others. A positive interview experience can leave candidates feeling valued and excited about the company, while also helping the company to identify the best candidate for the job.

Question 1
What programming languages are you proficient in? Can you give me an example of a project you worked on in one of those languages? How do you approach debugging a program? Can you walk me through a time when you had to debug a particularly challenging issue? Have you worked with version control before? Which version control systems are you familiar with? Can you explain a workflow you have used with version control? In your opinion, what is the most important factor in designing a scalable and efficient database schema? Tell me about a time when you had to learn a new programming language or technology quickly for a project. How did you approach the challenge, and what did you learn from the experience?
