I almost forgot that I had interviewed with this company few months ago. But now in my new role (as corporate strategy lead) I came across this company while doing some due diligence for a potential deal, I had recalled that I had interviewed for this Director Market Strartegy role (that is still posted on theior career site!) I applied for this role via the corporate website. I got an e-mail from the talent acquisition person who set up a screen interview via ZOOM. I had a very good and enjoyable conversation with the interviewer. He stated that he would speak to the hiring manager and get back to me, Within a few days, I got the feedback: I was not selected to proceed further, which I fully respect in good professional spirit. It is imporotant to note that this job is still active on the website. This runs contrary to what the interviewer said that they were looking to fill this role soon (which was few months ago). This suggests that they are indecisive about hiring someone or the requisition has been paused. Either way, I thought I would share my experience just in case someone else interviews for this role and wonders why this position still has not been staffed.
