New Horizon Promotions interview questions

I applied on LinkedIn for a Public Relations Assistant and I am told I'll be a Marketing Assistant. The three interviews are very run-of-the-mill and don't reveal too much about the company. Questions are basic and the on-site interview at the store is helpful for what you are going to do. And that is the mundane task of asking customers at Home Depot if they want a consultation from Home Depot to look at their kitchen or heating/cooling system. Not for everyone.

I was emailed by the CEO, and called by their receptionist. It was pretty disorganized, but I did go into the interview. Getting there by public transportation was really difficult, so I would recommend an uber or a car. Once I was at the interview, they had me fill out a sheet with the exact same information that they wanted me to apply with. I spoke with an assistant manager about the process. All he asked me was if I had any sales experience, and if I was a people person. He told me that it would start out working promotions for Home Depot, and talking to people everyday to get leads. You start out looking for leads, and with "hard work and perseverance." If you're looking for a management program this is it. But if you're looking for actual communications or marketing experience, this is not the place.
